Both the Hummer EV SUV and RX have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The Hummer EV SUV has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The RX’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Hummer EV SUV. But it costs extra on the RX.

The GMC Hummer EV SUV’s Surround Vision is equipped with washers for its front and rear cameras, ensuring crystal-clear visibility in any weather condition. Conversely, the Lexus RX only offers a rear camera washer, which may not provide the same level of all-weather performance.
